Do you realize that this distribution is now going out to THIRTY-SEVEN people! Yet, only a handful of you come out to the meetings to play the game! Sheesh!
Well, last Saturday's impromptu session at the Melbourne Barnes & Noble was a smashing success. Dr. Dan and Dr. Lipofsky took on Attila, John Russell, Eric Lavigne (who brought his home-made board) and yours truly. Attila beat the good Dr. Bart once, the rest of us lost graciously and often.
We got some good walk-in business in Melbourne: Dan Wigley, MaryAnn Ashe, and Rex Lowther all stopped by, chatted, and walked off with "Way To Go" pamplets and an apparent interest. There was also an entire family whose names I didn't catch, but they were from Ft. Lauderdale.
Now, I must tell you that we are seriously kicking around the idea of moving the club from Merritt Island to Melbourne. Most of the "regulars" are from down in that area and Bart has said that he wouldn't mind the change of venue. If you have an opinion, NOW is the time to speak your mind. Or, better yet, come to the meeting next Saturday (still in Merritt Island) and let's talk about it (and then play some Go!).
By the way, please note that the eminent Mr. Yuji Sano should be rejoining us next week, even flying in a day early from Japan just so he could come. Now, if Yuji can come all the way from Japan, surey you can come from...
