Well, last Sunday's informal meeting at Eric's house was not exactly a resounding success. I suspect it was a bit too informal and a little bit late. But thanks for the invite and maybe we'll do better in the future.
This Sunday's game is kind of doubtful right now. I had surgery on my nose on Tuesday to correct a severely deviated septum and although I don't feel that badly, I'm bleeding like a stuck pig. Now, I've got this ridiculous looking contraption on my face that hooks around my ears and holds a gauze pad under my nose to collect the delightful drippings and there's NO WAY I'm going out in public like this. Also, I don't look too good. Not that I ever did, but now I look even worse.
So, in the event that I can't attend, I'll make arrangements to drop off the equipment. In fact, I think our original president and founder, Mike Clark, might be here this Sunday and I'll see if I can't prevail on him to cart supplies out to Books A Million.
One way or the other, there will still be a game Sunday, October 5, 1:00 p.m. (remember the time change!) Books A Million at Post Commons.
Watch.I won't be there and there'll be hundreds of folks come to play.
There is no justice in this world.
